SPECIAL SITUATIONS

In this option #2 passes to the pivot man who is break-ing up high to receive the pass. #3 breaks across to screenfor #4. #2 times his cut so that he brushes his man offon #3 cutting by. If #6 cannot feed #2, #2 flares outto the sideline, and #4 comes off the screen by #3 andreceives ball for possible lay-in. #5 comes out for safetyvalve.

SPECIAL SITUATIONS

This option begins just like the regular weakside play.#2 passes to #5 and goes through looking for the bounce

pass. If he doesn't get the ball, he clears on out. #6, insteadof coming up high to receive the ball, flares to the baseline.#3 has set a screen' for #4, and #4 receives ball at thefree-throw line for a soft jump shot. This diagram wouldwork very well for a left-handed wing man. Work it fromthe other side for a right-handed wing.
